http://joannenova.com.au/2019/11/japan-the-precautionary-principle-killed-more-people-than-the-fukushima-nuclear-disaster/

"The panicked closure of nuclear power in Japan pushed electricity prices up. The UN agrees that no people died from radiation in the Fukushima event, but the frenzied over-evacuation killed up to 2,000 people. After that, higher electricity prices led to at least 1280 extra deaths in the 21 largest cities. That translates into 4,500 deaths if the mortality rate was similar across the rest of the country."

"The United States has formally notified the United Nations of its intention to withdraw from the Paris Agreement.

The notification begins a one-year process of exiting the global climate change accord, culminating the day after the 2020 US election.

The agreement brought together 188 nations to combat climate change."

The EA + flooding?

It's supposedly a competence - but it is a competence that collapses to a pretense supported by arrogance and vociferous bluster when challenged - they have screwed up schemes across the country. In the flood risk assessments there's actually a climate change section in the reports that allows them to twist the numbers arbitrarily. They are a near completely dysfunctional shower.

This weeks West Midlands edition was a best of show
They chose to re-air the edition where the presenter goes into a primary school to participate in the brainwashing projects about going green.

It's a very dangerous gamble to think that the Tories will be short of a majority, just enough to need any Brexit Party MPs.
Surely you mean Lib Dem Party MPs?

That's who they usually form alliances with.

"You never answer questions that you don't want to either."
I would ask you to substantiate that, .... but don't bother. I know it's not true
Good luck

"The risk of flooding has doubled in 5 years"
... er nope
flood events do vary like dice throws
If I roll 2 fours in 6 tries ..that doesn't mean the risk of a four has doubled

Man wearing the EA uniform "Climate Change is now, Climate Emergency is happening !"

That's true enough, but don't be too sure that the Conservatives will be a functional government even if they win a clear majority. Are they really united behind Boris on the desire to leave, or just worried about holding their seats? My expectations will vary between low and very low depending on the election outcome.

stewgreen, I don't follow rules if I don't want to. You never answer questions that you don't want to either.

Why would you doubt that there is Russian interference? Basic logic indicates that countries interfere in each others' affairs. Next you'll be claiming that there are no spies and The Cambridge 5 were just misunderstood. Trolling comment sections is an easy way to stir things up. Why should I have to prove what is a logical probability?

It makes sense that Russia would like the UK out of the EU. It makes sense that they would favour us doing so suddenly and without a semi amicable relationship. I wouldn't be surprised if they were heavily influencing green chat sites, encouraging XR etc. I expect to see an uptick in support for Labour and encouragement for remainers to attack the Tories.

During the Novichok months, the likely trolls had a set pattern of issues to insert - the cunning Maybot, why weren't the two killed instantly if it was Novichok, if Russia had done it, the two would be dead, why couldn't they be interviewed, they'd probably already murdered by the government to keep them from telling the truth, maybe they weren't ill at all, why couldn't they speak to their cousin, where was the government proof, false flag operation connected to Porton Down and weirdly - why did the animals in the house have to be killed, was it to hide that there was no poison. Most of those and more talking points made it to the top of every comment section, despite most of the other comments being sceptical of Russia's innocence. The best comments arguing that it was Russia were quickly voted down many times. The comments were just as desperate after Putin did the chat show with the two church loving tourists but tailed off. When the government released a lot more information, most of the trolls (of whatever nation) had gone. Of course all those comments could have been western trolls but it's a sign of how much some westerners hate their own countries and would trust anyone else.

Why don't you want to believe that if they'd insert people to defend Russia over Novichok that they'd dabble in politics too? Is it because you don't want to admit that some of the support online for Brexit is fake? I'm not going to do it but it would be interesting to see if any of the top commenters on Brexit articles post on any non political issues. Not a good litmus test but it could be informative. Brexit Party supporter or political troll.
