Joan Ryan is the latest Labour MP to leave the party to sit as an independent.

“Theresa May’s Brexit deal is a bad deal for Enfield, I support a People’s Vote”, says Joan Ryan MP

But I suppose, like the other 7, she won't be so keen on a people's vote regarding her status as an MP, despite circumstances having changed....

Honda - Japan has a free trade deal with the EU, the UK has no deal and may not have a deal before production starts in Japan. Without any of the other complications the management of Honda would have been watching the progress of Brexit, the EU-Japan trade deal, and the launch date of the new model(s) before making a final decision after a trade deal and before a no deal Brexit and before the start date for building a new production line- about now. Of all Japanese car manufacturers Honda had most need f a free trade deal with the EU, possibly they hadn't forgotten about BMW.

Begum's son is Dutch in both Syrian and Dutch law. Over to Mr Rutte - if of course Begum is willing to learn Dutch, without which they will throw her out.

I hope that Bernie Sanders stirs up US Democrats into a public and televised debate/dispute/fight about the toxicity of Green Blob thinking. It has not happened in the UK, EU or USA. Australia is getting close.

If US Democrats point at Honda's decision, and why it was taken, the BBC will have some serious squirming to do.Trump will if Democrats won't.

Has anyone seen evidence of the £100million the Government has wasted on battery cars, or is that just the subsidies to con people into buying them?

"On the question of Ms Begum's son, a child born to a British parent before they are deprived of their citizenship would still be considered British."

The Grandparents may be able to rear their Grandchild, in the UK. But the Mother won't.

The BBC tried to create a consensus of support for Ms Begum. The Government have delivered wisdom worthy of Solomon (Jewish), known to Arabs and Muslims as

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suleiman

Suleiman (English: /ˈsuːləmɑːn/ or /ˌsuːleɪˈmɑːn/[1]) is the main transliteration of the Arabic سليمان Sulāymān / Silīmān. The name means "man of peace" and corresponds to the English name Solomon. The word may also be transliterated as Sulaiman, Suleman, Soliman, Sulayman, Sulaymaan, Sulyman, Suleyman, Sulaman, Süleyman, Sulejman, Sleiman, Sleman, Sliman, Slimane, Soleman, Solyman, Souleymane Seleman.

This story comes to mind:

"King Solomon greatest strength was his unsurpassed wisdom, granted to him by God. In one biblical episode, two women came to him with a dispute. Both lived in the same house and had recently delivered newborns, but one of the infants had died. The mother of the dead baby tried to take the living child from the other mother. Because no other witnesses lived in the house, the women were left to dispute who the living child belonged to and who was the true mother. Both claimed to have given birth to the baby.

They asked Solomon to determine which of the two of them should keep the newborn. With astonishing wisdom, Solomon suggested that the boy be cut in half with a sword and split between the two women. Deeply moved by love for her son, the first woman whose baby was alive said to the king, "Please, my lord, give her the living baby! Don’t kill him!"

But the other woman said, "Neither I nor you shall have him. Cut him in two!" Solomon ruled that the first woman was the real mother because she preferred giving up her child to seeing him harmed."

Trump seems to have played the proverbial blinder with this LBGT initiative - there will be heads exploding ...... I wonder what the Guardian's crew will make of it as it comes through the air in their direction 😁

Co2 cannot read a energy flow chart.
He then wastes his time on insults.
The function of production should be consumption.
Not intermediate consumption or overinvestment.
All that is needed is the optimum level of investment to satisfy consumption.
Yee guys rightly complain about overinvestment in wind and other diffuse renewables and yet cannot see the banking system produces a mass of consumer credit in the transport sector so as to prevent the surplus from being used.
Do not mourn the demise of the car industry.

\\ Why don’t the bbc highlight the fact that these Japanese companies are moving their production back to Japan, because (unlike the useless May government) they were able to successfully negotiate a free trade deal with the EU without actually being in a customs union, a single market or under the jurisdiction of the ECJ!
What a great idea //

'Yee'? I think a Cork is out of a bottle.

One can be against waste typically seen in intermediate consumption figures and having nothing against carbon emissions.
Yee guys are locked into a bind.
It's not justifiable to say it's philosophical because yee guys do not know up from down.
There is a massive intermediate energy waste which causes the rationing observed around us.
There is the recent industrial sabotage efforts (wind and coal plants converted into wood burners) but this scarcity process did not begin on the late 80s.
Brits acting like Americans is quite something .
Yee want to wear your waste badges with honour.
Cars produced in these present numbers cause just as much rationing if not more then all the wind turbines and solar farms put together.
