Fish, money, the armed forces, immigration, sovereignty, transition , free speech and the ECJ- is there anything left of Brexit that Teresa May is not willing to conceded to the rude bullies in the EU?

I sit here fuming and fuming daily- and apart from blog commenters commenting, what can we do? Is there anyone listening in Parliament who is prepared to do anything about it? Or do we just meekly say ."....oh well...." , make a feeble protest vote against the Tory party and get JC at the next election?.

Even if formats have changed, someone has to have the authority to sign a check, and that authority must be approved or delegated , ultimately by a Council Meeting.

Individual Council Officers may have their own budgets, such as "New Road Signs" or "Catering" but they should not be able to turn that into fact finding trips to the Monaco Grand Prix.

Council Members and Officers dealing with Planning Permission may not control much expenditure, but their decisions may be worth miilions.

Govt Plotting ‘Below the Radar’ Deal Keeping UK Military Tied to EU After Brexit

Brexit deal means control of UK armed forces could be given over to the European Union (EU) after Brexit.

A new Draft Exit Agreement, announced this week, demands the UK remain committed to the EU’s new “defence architecture” during the ‘transition period’.

Appeaser Theresa capitulates again.

"Transition Period" after Article 50 two years?

No, no, no - "Transition Period" Is Article 50 two years.

emissions - as I've said here before was a bureaucratic backwater where the testers and tested tended to collude - the idea being that the manual was never finished...... The variability between manufacturers and individual power plants in different scenarios is quite big. Everybody I think knew it - but were happy to go along with it so long as the drift was in the right direction.

Why did the EPA sit on the VW defeat code for 2 years....?

I have read and re-read the guidelines from NAO

As you can see in the reports - the layout changed.

It's a spreadsheet gig... (and familiarity with the prevailing rules - which change..) your last paragraph hints at the issue...

A Gay Libertarian writes about the "Tolerant, inclusive Left":

I was stalked by my ‘own kind’ for having a different outlook

...The radical LGBT do not like people having a different view, especially those whom share once small aspect with them, they really do believe all gay people should have the same view, be the same, act the same. Heard that somewhere before? I have too.

Those that were once bullied, have now become the bullies...

On similar, but different issues I have experienced the same. A shared interest; became obvious I was Libertarian/Right/Capitalist - ostracised.

imho Most "Tolerant, inclusive" are Bikers & Hard Rock, true petrol heads (not boy racers) and Goths.

What are your views/experiences?

tomo, Wiltshire

I have had a brief look, and did not even know that Wiltshire had become a Unitary 10 years ago. I would imagine that some "anomalies" will have been incorporated into the Unitary, and some further "anomalies" will have resulted, during the merger and adjutment. But ......

REGULATION OF BUSINESS includes:
● Council Rules of Procedure
● Budget and Policy Framework Procedure
● Financial Regulatons and Procedure Rules
● Procurement and Contract Rules
● Members Code of Conduct
● Officers Code of Conduct
● Corporate Complaints Procedure

If you are curious about revenue and expenditure issues, the legal accountability for them, should be open for scrutiny, and should be in accordance with the Council's Regulation of Business.

Whether for Personal or Political reasons, some Members and some Officers tend to assume that Procedures and Codes of Conduct don't apply to them. They follow the examples set by MPs and Civil Servants

Worldwide media exposes "Politically Correct" UK Gov't ignoring massive child rape

Britain Wake Up Now To This Grooming Gang Epidemic

.
Raped under the watchful eye of Her Majesty’s finest

...By 2007 part of the Serious Organised Crime Agency had already commissioned a short educational film to be shown in schools. The obvious aim of that video was to cut off the supply of victims to the gangs by teaching schoolgirls to understand the traps set by the gangs. Of course, that educational video was never shown in schools nor on TV...

Equally unarduous. "Accountant" is not a protected profession in UK
