TinyCO2, the concept of a 'tree frog', always raises interesting questions about the sequence of evolution. Maybe the scientists who thought they were extinct, had been looking in tall trees, when they should have been looking in small trees, only just emerging from some premedieval swamp.
Harry Passfield, professional climatrollogy is a remaining growth sector in the Green Blobber Job Wonkyconomy, as robustly Unreliable Models keep falling over.
A bit of levity to lift the spirits:
A man saved his girlfriend's phone number on his mobile as 'Low Battery'. Whenever she calls him, in his absence, his wife takes the phone and plugs it into the charger. Give that man a medal.
If a frog everyone thought was extinct turns up alive and well, is climate change responsible?

Has anyone looked at the draft legislation for the new energy bill? The first paragraph of the forward by Amber Rudd indicates that she may be developing a sense of humour ^.^
"This Government is committed to keeping energy bills as low as possible for hardworking families and businesses. A competition focussed energy system is central to achieving this aim."
There's a wonderful new 'troll' over at WUWT on the latest model thread, going by the name of caitiecaitie. It's an interesting dynamic and very provocative.
TinyCO2,
Thanks for that.

Two things not mentioned on the Beeb in my hearing have been 1) the fate of employees reporting on the Savile affair more recently, e.g. for the pulled Newsnight investigation, almost all of whom have either been sacked or promoted sideways, and 2) that 'Jim'll Fix It' was known in-house as 'Jim'll Fuck It', but perhaps the senior Beeboids didn't realise that this was meant literally.

"Proving" that today's temperatures are "unprecedented"
golf charlie maybe they moved to taller trees to get a cooler environment? Or perhaps some creatures have evolved to avoid scientists with jars of formaldehyde?
