From the BBC live coverage:

We'll find out soon whether pleas by the likes of Katy Perry and others have fallen on deaf ears...

I see the BBC has its fingers as close as ever to the intellectual pulse of... something...

Old edition of Coast about Brittany
#1 First scientist claimed their are more rain clouds on this coast, cos the masses of seed in the area emit iodine particles which seed the clouds
#2 Carnac : The arcaelogist says in a matter of fact way ..oh sea level was 7m lower when they built this 7,000 years ago.

So much for nature being stable until modern man came along with SUVs

@Tomo what got me was the printed version talked about the program needing to be complete by January and to start in September
..If it's just saying that the some electrics will be available from September and that only electrics will be available from January..then that is a differnt thing.

Black cabbies will be claiming that Uber should be banned cos Uber vehicles are not in a green prog
..That electric taxi programme is going to need all kinds of money/subsidies and someone will be paying for them

The 'US out of the Paris deal' party is back on. Get the cake and balloons out again.

Last I heard, China promised to level off their RATE of increase in emissions by about 2030ish. So, they'll continue to expand their fossil fuel network and an increasing rate until they've caught up with where they want to be and then only expand at a fixed rate. Idiot warmists hear 'level off' and think it means emissions.

PCar mammoth teeth and bones are not uncommon in Pleistocene deposits. Those from Dogger Bank have been in contact with seawater for thousands of years.

@GC:

BBC Radio 4 News. Apparently China is going to stand by its commitments to Paris. Does anyone know what they are?
As far as I can see China has merely committed to 'try' - and as a UN-defined 'developing nation', they do not have to succeed, ever.

I realy hope President Trump selects option 3 and explains fully his reasons. The Paris accord only exists to milk the USA.
