When it comes to Greens and Climate Science stupidity, women have demonstrated equality with men.
Ed Miliband was so convinced by Briony Worthington, that he believed she possessed expertise:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bryony_Worthington,_Baroness_Worthington
and he let her write the UK's Climate Change Act 2008, that has been used as a Greenprint for legislation around the World, based on no science at all.
The irony for Briony, is that having to tried to destroy the World's Economy, she is now seeing the destruction of Green dogma, in the UK, EU and USA.
So, let's get this straight - in the case of natural disasters, men are much more likely than women to survive, yet 80% of displaced people are women? Where do the (vastly greater numbers of) men go?
More sensationalism - like much in the world of climate alarmism, it doesn't add up.

I have experienced scary earth tremors, but not a full blown earthquake. Death tolls are highest amongst those in buildings that collapse, not in open countryside. Brick and stonework are very vulnerable. Reinforced concrete offers some resistance, but when it fails, it is catastrophic. Steel framed buildings can sway a bit more, and there is less to collapse on top of the workers inside.
Climate Science and scaremongering have always prided themselves on Inclusivity and Political Correctness. Global Warming parties have tended to be annual events with nothing useful to do, ever. I do wonder whether some chauvinist cultures have considered Global Warming Parties, where everything is predetermined anyway, as useful ways to demonstrate they are not chauvinist, on a world stage, when it is funded by others anyway. If you believe in nepotism, keeping as much foreign money amongst family and friends makes sense. What harm can result?
Looks like the "progressives" are pushing the gendering (how many might that be?) of climate change.
Climate Barbie is apparently training up women negotiators for The Ocean Summit
She doesn't seem to obviously smoke as much dope as her boss.

An excellent question although totally irrelevant for the BBC'c purposes.
Some might say the women go and seek safety, in BBC terms become displaced, and the men stay behind to do salvage and recovery.

Far more likely Climate Change and lack of sea ice in the Arctic, don't you think?
"1000 tonnes of flowers have arrived at Stansted Airport"
...My mother doesn't approve of cut flowers
Nigel Farage just informed me that those flowers mostly come from outside EU therefore buyers have paid 10% tariff due to the non-free trade zone .
UaT. Have Shetland's snowy owls been displaced by golfCharlie's repatriated ponies?

The BBC's victimhood rules applied yet again by the look of it - there seems to be little they write about that doesn't involve victims - it's a tediously recurrent theme.

While I read the piece it crossed my mind if anyone would remember Shetland's Snowy Owls. Then I discovered they're everywhere.

Owls can fly home. Shetland's finest can't. They are too broad in the beam to fit through aircraft doors.
