I rather liked this article. Covered many points in an honest way

“All I know is that to see, and not to speak, would be the great betrayal.”

Who does buy organic bacon at 2-3 times the price, apart from those on BBC Salaries?

One gets pursued by overheated women, the other gets overheated and pursues women. Did Harvey just get jealous of Leo?

What is it about greedy slime balls, sexual deviants and Climate Science? There is obviously some kind of mutual attraction.

@Golf Moscow mafia fiddle and then build a church with some of their profits

So it seems that the Green activists doing the most virtue signalling might be compensating for guilt about their other behaviour ..eg sexual predator Pachauri

Martin Sorrell has been given the push from WPP, the advertising agency he set up. Shareholders and Clients were losing confidence in him. Is this more evidence of Business being ruined by Climate Science and Al Gore?

Sorrell makes climate change pledge to Al Gore in Cannes
"Sir Martin Sorrell, the chief executive and chairman of WPP, has offered to stand arm-in-arm with rival network heads at Cannes next year if all will pledge solidarity with the climate change movement."

"Sorrell made the promise during his interview with former US vice president Al Gore at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity today.

He offered to join Publicis Groupe's chief executive, Maurice Lévy, and other heads from the big six marketing networks, on stage at Cannes in 2016 to say that while they disagree on matters of business, all support the climate change movement.

Sorrell then asked Gore if he would return to Cannes next year to preside over the pledge, to which Gore replied "absolutely".

Sorrell began by talking about his first meeting with Gore 18 months ago, when the former vice president approached WPP to create a campaign for his non-profit organisation, The Climate Reality Project, which seeks to pressure governments into reducing carbon emissions."

The Al Gore factor strikes again.

Meanwhile, advertising sends confusing messages:

Of course if your marketing department is staffed entirely with activists then you probably won't get a good picture of your customers real attitudes. Of course that's not something the BBC has to worry about, and they anyway regard it as their job to get us believing the 'correct' views.

BBC don't need a marketing department; BBC is staffed entirely with activists and don't care what their customers want as they have to pay even if they don't consume.

The XC90 presently starts at a mere £50,000 and can option up to about £75K

It's a premium motor - festooned with multiple airbags and safety features - Volvo have made safety a USP with their vehicles and it looks like that safety policy works.

The depreciation is precipitous in part because of very high parts costs when out of warranty.

I see Volvo are heading off out into PHEV territory to grab some subsidy (purportedly 108 mpg from an XC90!!!) I know several Outlander PHEV owners and if not plugged in - their practical mileage is lower than the advertised lowest.(heavy right footed)

I really think that VED concessions and the electric bonus should be scrapped on cars retailing over £30K. The PHEV CO2 figures are taking the piss.

Build your own Volvo

No data on how many people have been killed or seriously injured in vehicles or as pedestrians when in collision with an XC90? The XC90 is about 2 tonnes a Fiesta about 1 tonne. Then there is this
