Please can you do something with the Gruaniad's TV ad that claims the three pigs framed the big bad wolf for blowing down their homes, but somehow including a bird masher in it?
Another classic! Get us a Facebook "like" button, make it easier to disseminate to the "yoof"
And these are the people who are responsible
Can you imagine working for a company that only has a little more than 635 employees, but, has the following employee statistics.
29 have been accused of spouse abuse,
7 have been arrested for fraud,
9 have been accused of writing bad cheques,
17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses,
3 have done time for assault,
71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit,
14 have been arrested on drug-related charges,
8 have been arrested for shoplifting,
21 are currently defendants in lawsuits,
84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year,
And collectively, this year alone, they have cost the British tax payer £92,993,748 in expenses!!!
Which organisation is this?
It's the 635 members of the House of Commons.
The same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.
What a bunch of crooks we have running our country - it says it all...
Pesadia, is that verifiable? I don't know about the other transgressions but those with inability to get a credit card and the DUI arrests seem large numbers for any population.
I've given up writing to my MP about it. Even the ridiculous cost for a 0.08C reduction in global average temperature didn't get a reply.
Note: I didn't rant at him or send him an essay, just a short to the point opinion. But then you know, he's Minister for Agriculture so I suppose a very busy man.

We didn't do this to ourselves. It was forced on us by the EU, Blair, Brown, Miliband, Huhne, Camoron, amongst a long line of incompetents or, as pesadia would say, crooks.
I was always told there was treasure at the end of the rainbow, the trouble is nobody told me that the rainbow was GREEN!

The other evening the BBC carried a documentary on the subsidies given to wealthy landowners for doing nothing with their land. Funny how they don't address the huge subsidies and profits wealthy landowners are getting for allowing their land be used for an outdated method of generating power?

I'd check your references again. There are 646 seats in the house of commons to start with.
Anyways, that's all besides the point. The simple fact is the country no longer has a parliament that passes laws as that's been outsourced to Brussels.

Checking your information leads me to believe that I have made a mistake.

Sad thing is I was not surprised by the statistics which tells yo all what I think about UK MPs.
So when Josh says "Landlords" he's basically acknowledging the fact that when a turbine gets built it is because someone has agreed for a fee to have a tower built on their property, and that the people bitching about what this someone does on their land don't own that piece of land. When did Josh go all Commie on us?

I learned when someone says someone "basically" says they mean "these are my words that I am ascribing to you" (see, I can do it too).
Anyway, it would be quaint if the money the landlords were getting was actually non-subsidized private equity.
In the US the number would be 435 for the House of Representatives and 100 for the Senate, or 535. As a group they may have a few more of some of our shortcomings, but certainly not wildly more.

John M - 'he's basically acknowledging.." is a robust proxy for the introduction of a strawman. Not sure of the R2 value, I've calculated it and got it somewhere. Nope can't find it, but trust me it's pretty impressive.

I'd love to get the message out more widely and Josh's cartoons can be a wonderful way to do so. Even somebody who knows nothing of the Climate Wars can understand this latest one in a trice.

BigCityLib, not sure I follow you. The cartoon shows the flow of money from you and me (unless you are a big landowner) to landowners who rent their land to build wind turbines. We, you and me again, pay a huge amount of cash for not a lot of electricity. Pretty simple really.

Windturbines are hazerdous to many birds especialy the larger ones and bats as well Its certianly isnt enviromentaly freindly
The real Big Green are the millions of dollars squandred by the goverment over this GREEN ENERGY nonsense
