Captures the situation with more precision than an thousand peer-reviewed reports :)

Perhaps an enterprising NGO (using a computer model) could insert a wind turbine into this cycle to generate unlimited electricity for mankind? (surely only politics prevent this from happening)

Josh: You must get yourself into the MSM. Your cartoons are brilliant.

Josh or Fen?

Difficult choice, unable to pick - great cartoon btw, Greenpiece - nicely:>)).

Having the hooligans of Greenpeace effectively controlling the IPCC will hasten its end. I find that the shock value 'in the pub' of dissing either of them has substantially diminished. More and more people seem to be seeing them for what they really are: tawdry, self-serving, superficial thinkers, and threats to everything decent. I'll have to find other ways to stir things up in future. Pesky nuisance.

I made a post recently on Jo Nova, in response to a commentator who brought up the subject of Camel-Culling in OZ to reduce GG, that you, Fenbeagle or both would be natural choices to lampoon this type of activity.
Scene 1: A dry and arid Australian desert background with two areas of focus. A wild-eyed, clearly terrified and 'methane-parping' Ship of the Desert being persued by a plethora of gun-toting, 4x4 and Apache Choppers, 'Pollution Exhalers' but planet-saving vehicles! Intent on extermination.
The crime of Carbon Camelcade
Scene 2: Abdul the Flatulent Bactrian (or Deadly Dromedary) on a Wanted - Dead or Alive (with the Alive cancelled out) as a threat to the planet of ecocide
or variants as your fancy takes

'Bottom-Burping Bactrian'?

Jun 17, 2011 at 2:00 AM | Unregistered CommenterRoyFOMR

Roy, certainly a bizarre enough story. Is it for real?

Jun 17, 2011 at 8:53 AM | Unregistered CommenterJosh

Josh: "Is it for real?"

Yes, very much so.

Ah, I see. Camels are pests in Oz. Pests need controlling, as we all know too well...

Hey Josh, I picture a long haired hippy environmentalist with a pony tail and head band, smoking a spliff, a peace sign on his tie-dyed t-shirt, wearing hippy glasses and sandals, and over his hippy clothing he’s got a crinkled labcoat with the IPCC or the UN emblem on it. He’s holding a clipboard painted green and in his pocket protector you see the ends of numerous joints (pot) sticking out. Just an idea for your next cartoon.

Nice picture, Terry. Probably a tad too like real life for a cartoon ;-)
