A tangled web

A very interesting article for those of a global warming sceptic bent and for BBC watchers, over at The Register.

There is yet another misleading part to a story at the moment, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/7827106.stm
it looks on the face of it a good story, but down the bottom is a graph of methane in the atmosphere from NOAA underneath Richard Black has put" There are hints that atmospheric methane levels are rising again"
My maths were never that strong but it's showing that methane has risen from 1.6 to 1.77 molecules per million molecules of atmosphere since 1978 hardly a "Chicken Little" moment and he leaves out the other part of that graph showing the rate of increase has slowed dramatically in the same period.
