I suspect that the Koenigsegg Freevalve will mature both mechanically and software wise. The benefits of arbitrary + totally independent valve control are likely only exceeded by the challenge of engineering a durable / robust way of doing it :-)

That said - I wouldn't care to be an early adopter.

10 miles away Integrated Green Energy Solutions Ltd is planning to open a facility producing diesel, petrol and LPG from non-recyclable plastics
"the team intends to convert 65,000 tonnes of plastic into 69 million litres of fuel annually"
(80 per cent diesel, 15 per cent petrol and 5 per cent LPG, to be used on site.) yesterday's news
