Eric Lundgren conviction sounds like Judge Technophobe could not comprehend simple fact that without a COA/Key Windows is bricked.

Eric should win on appeal.

If you could clearly explain which ocean changes you have in mind I might be able to suggest which control knob they relate to. If you mean ENSO and PDO, they are short term variations with no long term effect on the control knobs.

Uibhist a thigh

Volcanism affects mostly albedo as particulates from eruptions temporarily increase albedo.

The other effects you mention are purely speculative. The only one tested is Svenmark's effect, which as been tested at CERN and found to be too weak to have any real effect on climate

Entropic man
Additional noise and random inputs from volcanism, magnetic pole shift (who knows what this does to cloud cover if Svensmark is even partially correct), Interstellar dust, rotation of Milky Way and spectral solar irradiance variations.

Entropic Man. Oh so six control knobs. So which of those cause oceanic changes that long have been known to affect climate?

If you are in a mood for detail, you can regard H2O as three control knobs.

Increasing ice cover increases albedo and has a cooling effect.

Increasing the area of liquid water decreases albedo and has a warming effect.

The Poles are gradually replacing sea ice with open water, so we see a warming effect.

Water vapour is a GHG. More water vapour means more warming.

If you want to regard water as a separate control knob it is set to "warm""

Personally I regard water effects as feedbacks, amplifying existing warming or cooling trends rather than initiating them. I don't think of water as a separate control knob.

EM, H2O in vapour, liquid and solid forms?

Balearic's gov press conference yesterday
"We will go from 3% renewables to 190% by 2050
And all car hire will be electric by 2035 and sales of new non electrics banned"
Yeh... A lot of off their heads on drugs people in the Balearics

looks like another renewables scam being prepped at the top of the chute

Mahoosive opportunity for "Behind the meter storage"

Wonder when Ms. Blucas will be singing from this hymn sheet and pushing pols to vote a subsidy?

Then the Times pg 20 starts another story in the sane way
"Contributes to 29,000 deaths a year"
(Pg 1
"Implicated in 29,000 PREMATURE deaths each year")

This time they blame "bigger dairy herds push up air pollution"
Ammonia rose 3.2% in 2015/16

Make that six control knobs. I forgot plate tectonics. 😕
