AK,

For someone who is supposedly a toddler he has worked miracles for America with historic employment ACROSS the board (for women who he is supposed to hate...for blacks who he is supposed to hate...for Latinos who he is supposed to hate...if you believe the media) and has generated an economy that is benefiting all working Americans.

He has also done what other Presidents promised to do but failed to do, move the American embassy to the Jewish capital in Jerusalem.

He has also managed to get North Korea to the table...which the holder of the largest brain known in the Universe was incapable of doing in 8 years of his reign of error.

The list is literally endless BUT the big brains on the left want us to believe that Trump will usher in world war III as well as complete and utter economic devastation because he isn't Hillary.

What is apparent though is that the media, the left and Democrats (I seem to be repeating myself) have been utterly wrong on everything they accused Trump would do once be became President.

Much like the EU was fortunate in who is opponents were in the UK for BREXIT negations...Trump to has been fortunate in who is political opponents have been these last several years. In fact you probably couldn't have wished for a more out of touch, ignorant and just damn stupid opposition even if you were allowed to dream up your dream opposition.

The UK could only but dream about having a leader as effective as Trump as PM.

Seems like there's some frenetic editing going on at Wikipedia ... quite a few folk are disappearing from Jeffrey Epstein's entry ..

tiny. I cannot believe what you have just written, which said that Trump's "a toddler" and" "He reacts impulsively but that's not always a bad thing". You have just argued that having a juvenile personality in charge of the world's sole remaining superpower, liable to over-react and pick fights, is not potentially disastrous.

Suggest you watch "Waco" (Sky Witness) for an example of how US institutions, liberated by weak central control, can run riot, something similar to that may be happening under Trump's watch, in immigrant detention centres along the Mexican border today.
A toddler can be vicious and uncaring, but is ultimately weak.

Agreed! There is nothing new or sensational in the leak. It is the means, method and motive that is worrying for Diplomats and their staff.

Trump likes to do deals, and he requires trust amongst his own staff. His "Make America Great Again" stance also requires him to do deals that benefit the US, with others outside the US, seeking mutually beneficial deals.

Supporters of Trump and BREXIT have gained, opponents of Trump and BREXIT have not done so well, possibly shot in the foot by someone on "their" side.

All politicians have egos, and none like to lose. When it comes to the battle of the biggest egos, the EU is losing.

A big German Bank is not making staff redundant because of BREXIT, but due to a lack of confidence.

Sorry if this has been posted already but it is the correct GWPF report.

AK, because he can. As you say, far worse has been said/written but nobody likes to hear it again. He doesn't do the turn the other cheek thing. He slaps right back and I actually prefer that honesty. Obama would never have done this but he loathed us with a passion and did much to stab us in the back. Trump is an arse but he's the chosen arse of the most powerful country in the World. We'd be polite to leaders who were and are shamelessly evil. I said the other day that he's a toddler and I mean it. He reacts impulsively but that's not always a bad thing. Our enemies have become too sure that we've become cowardly old people. Too scared to do anything but whisper behind curtains.

gc all of which you could determine from the BBC reports of his activities, let alone any more private meetings. The US is as divided as our Brexit and Remainer tribes. Just as remainers don't get what triggered Brexit, Elites can't understand Trump's popularity. Having such a person trying to bridge a gap between the UK and Trump is a recipe for failure. Neither would Farage necessarily be the right guy. Too big an ego and too likely to have a bust up. Danniel Hannan, would be the right sort of person.

Why all the bluster from Trump about the contents of Sir Kim's communications? There's nothing new in them, they are not exactly revelatory (although they might have been for a short time after they were sent). Put "White House factions" into a search engine and the same stories come poring out - the innumerable comings and goings of Communications Directors, Chiefs of Staff, Legal Advisors, etc from before Trump took office to the present. There are even entire books written about the subject.
So why is Trump surprised when an established diplomat reaches those same conclusions that the Trump administration is riven with intrigue and thereby inept? Why the bluster? Is his ego punctured a teeny weeny bit?
