AK it's got nothing to do with December but between now and the 6th of November. There are things that the government can or can't do on their own. After all as the EU gave Boris a flextension, he could just agree with the EU that the deal was ok and we'd be out before the election, if the government had no restraints during an election period.

Thu : Emily's column about the report that said that 2050 net zero would cost £286bn, was short and jolly.
Anyone logical would have asks wheres that money coming from.
Tiny look forward to seeing what the Government gets past Parliament in the days between the 7-11th of December. Remember the government continues to govern, even when Parliament is not sitting so its business should be unaffected.
In Germany left thugs have been stopping meetings
- In Göttingen , Merkel's former defence minister was blockaded by 100 activists
- At Hamburg Uni hooded youths stormed a lecture by Prof Bernd Lucke a founder of the AfD, but who later left it
- Suspected activists attacked a constituency office of a Merkel MP
Last week the head of Frankfurt's domestic intelligence agency said " the far left was trying to hijack the school strikes inspired by Greta" .."A subtle poison"
Ethiopian PM is pushing ahead with 6GW dam
Egypt claims it will take their water.
Thursday's Times had a letter claiming that coal is worse than gas
cos methane is such a powerful greenhouse gas
and there are leakages at gasfields.
- He claimed that satellite measurements show that it's 5% over American shale fields.
hmm I doubt that every molecule of methane ends ups in the optimum heat blocking orbit.

The Times didn't mention he's a dermatologist
"Austerity and Tory misrule (with Lib Dem support) is the big problem. The slowest recovery form an exogenous shock in history is purely down to austerity. The permanent (seemingly) fall in productivity is likewise down to the structural problem caused by a lack of Government investment. The NHS is not safe in the hands of people whose ideology harms the poorest."
Reads like a Labour Party pamphlet.

What universities end their term before the 12th ?
tiny. Oh so your argument has absolutely nothing to do with whether the election should be on the 7th or the 12th. Thought so.
