Discussion > Extinction Rebellion Expenses

Greetings. Back here to report some curious news.

Extinction Rebellion has made its Volunteer Living Expenses document public. A cursory look shows remarkable info about XR activists, reasons for applying for expenses and if and how much in expenses they have been paid.

Quoting a tweet thread about the release ( https://twitter.com/SabCharlie/status/1169656625340268545?s=20 )

"Roger Hallum, a founder of the group, gets paid £1300 a month to cover a "basic vegan diet" and child support for four children. He's previously asked for £1000 so someone can run his farm for a month."

"Gail Bradbrook, who puts her working group as "no thank you" and normally earns £335 a day as a consultant, is getting £600 a month in addition to the £1000 pm her ex is donating to her directly."

"Tamsin Omund, most famous for suggesting people 'fake rob a bank for climate change', has claimed less than £3k so far for unspecified expenses, but is offering to work for XR full time for a mere £800 per month. I guess if that happens Barclays will be the first to know."

Not sure if this income is in addition to any welfare payment they might be receiving.

There is more in the spreadsheet for the good old BH community to peruse. Peace and health.

@Mark Hodgson
Mentioned in many places Paul Homewood is a handy reference:
