Discussion > President Trump

Not all Democrats believe in Climate Science. This is good news for the USA and the rest of the world, but not so good for Trump.

Robert Reich opines in The Guardian (Available for everyone, funded by readers)

Quotes the sainted "Justice Democrat" AOC too in his "Letter to the President"

I feel he is reading the chicken entrails incorrectly but I would like to see DJT re-elected if only to see Robert in a flat spin -again.

Meanwhile the "left" are preparing the stage scenery for the poisonous pantomime that will be "The Mueller Report"

Tomo,

Muellers report is so yesterday (since it doesn't appear that after 2 years and countless millions in cash and god like powers that Mueller is going to deliver anything that will help the Democrats to depose a sitting President).

Democrats have moved on from that and are now focusing on all the really important stuff...like Trump using his own money as he sees fit (which is now supposedly illegal). The next few days should be interesting on in so far as being once again able to see the media lose their minds over nothing and come up short with egg on their faces once again.

The BBC can't help themselves with TDS - I caught the late afternoon news on Radio 4 - wittering on pretentiously about how doomed Trump is after Michael Cohen has a hissy fit on his way to jail (for non DJT related crimes)

Headline on the BBC web site

Trump a "Liar, con-man and cheat" -Cohen

I bet they loved the idea that DJT might read the BBC web site.

Mailman - Mueller will likely be allowed to wander away from his "investigation" which is a real shame....

Michael Cohen gets quizzed by a Congressional committee - one can only wonder what the reaction might have been if Tony Rezko had been called in when the Republicans had a majority.....

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (and others) - who parrot a series of talking points stateside seem to have trouble elaborating or explaining their statements - one might be excused for thinking that a grand expedition in sock-puppetry is underway.

It is difficult to avoid her in the MSM at the moment - what is less obvious is where she and her crew came from.

A story that should be more widely known.

Soros et fils funding proponents "The New Green Deal" are in there - but the appetite to reveal the strings and push the puppets when they run out of script isn't.

Trump seems confident:

The Guardian seems a bit nervous:

maybe The Guardian consulted their in-house "two-jobber" spooks who've been providing piles of lies for a while now and those guys either evaded the questions or served up such monstrous whoppers that even the TDS suffused fools at GMG were left gaping.... The simultaneous resignation of the CIA's Brennan and GCHQ's Hannigan was a mere coincidence.

Mueller & Co's dishonest and contrived lawfare antics / tactics aren't exactly a secret - history suggests it'll be covered up - but it would be very entertaining to see Weissmann get the taxidermy treatment - he's trying to run away....

tomo, I also wonder whether some Democrats are eager to be rid of the Team Clinton Swamp, so there are no unexpected surprises next time around.

Unfortunately they are going to trip over AO-C instead.

from the many prominent Democrats I've listened to and their media mouthpieces I think they are exceeding slow learners - some are self evidently incapable of comprehending the matter - some don't care - others are simply lowlife scum like Schumer.. They need the media and they will not challenge the continuing hole digging.

I have been impressed by Tulsi Gabbard - but she is the exception ..... many more sane Dems are simply keeping their heads down - US politics is quite charged up at the moment.

There are so many conflicting stories and conflicted actors in the whole Trump Russia / Clinton Russia thing all trying to wriggle out from the can of worms it seems that DJT was prudent to let it ride...

A new one -The DOJ protected Hilary's emails from the FBI hmmmm....

Steele dossier was researched by "searching The Internet" according to Steele himself in sworn testimony - specifically CNN web site random commenters....

If it were not so serious it'd be farcical.

It'd be like a government department using SkS comments to justify climate / energy policy .... Oh .. wait a mo

The Mueller report might be "yesterday" but it's actually due in the next few days.... It'll be interesting to see how the MSM try to bury it....

A lot of Fake News has been pushed by The Guardian and Luke Harding

"Luke Harding is a Guardian foreign correspondent. He has reported from Delhi, Berlin and Moscow and covered wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya. His book Collusion: How Russia Helped Trump Win the White House is published by Guardian Faber"

Nancy Pelosi now has to lead US Democrats, discredited by Fake News accusations against Trump, divided by the New Green Economic Suicide Deal and worries about spooky stories from the Obama White House that promoted Clinton.

Predictably the usual suspects are wriggling.

I do hope that archive.org is bulging with evidence.

Watching and in particular listening to the BBC on R4 deal with this should leave any sane person convinced that the BBC as presently operating is very simply comprehensively not fit for purpose and at best needs a complete reboot.

I see Lord Hall has deemed the using of the term "MSM" as "an attack on freedom of speech” - I'd pack him off for a drugs test.

This William Barr's a rum figure isn't he? Last June, unprompted, he wrote a legal opinion explaining why in his view the President could and should not be indicted for obstruction of justice. It runs to 19 pages but a quick summary might run 'Because he's the president'. I don't know the title of the memo, but 'My Job Application' would suffice.

In a smart move, Trump appointed Barr his AG and he was, amusingly, confirmed on St Valentine's day.

A more cynical observer might be of the opinion that Barr has now returned the favour in spades. I could not possibly comment. I am now taking bets on which we will see first, will it be

1. The President's Tax Returns

2. The Mueller report in full?
