Alan Kendall, thank you for that. I can't comment on Copyright Law, but it would appear that advice given out by UEA, to their own employees, on legal obligations, duties, responsibilities etc has not always been without unforeseen consequences, sometimes extending outside the academic environment.

But it put UEA on the world map!

And yes, this is supposed to be a humorous thread. Sadly some seem to have a sense of humour bypass coupled with knee jerk grumpiness. I guess Mondays don't suit everyone.
