So, green energy is a wash?

A striking likeness to Troffa (or should I say "Teflon") Tim?

Well done Josh!

Good one that , and green wash is indeed wonderful in action .
For it can take an old school Tory, and we talking Thatcheriet, whose using his position to improve his own cash flow , the very type of person the left hates . And turn them into the darlings of the Guardian. The same process worked with Deben for that is no ‘muck ‘green wash cannot sift.

Truly excellent cartoon. If it had been in one of the MSM publications it might actually have done some good.

See Reuter interview on North Dakota's fracking bonanza.

Josh's cartoon hits the old spot yet again! I knew that Josh just had to be at his drafting table when this story broke yesterday.

As the Spectator correctly surmised in June, technically he did not break the 'rules'. But as they also observed, he has become more a liability than an asset to the green movement. I'd add that he's als o probably become an acute liability to everything else associated with him as well - his constituency, his party, even his boasted influential contacts and lobbyists.

'And Yeo, who took £140,000 from various commercial interests last year, will now have become an embarrassment to the green movement more generally. Those who regard renewable energy as a massive racket will see in him the embodiment of their suspicion: an MP on the take. Perhaps not illegally, and it’s quite possible that (as he insists) he didn’t break any rules. But this looks appalling: why should an MP be taking money from lobbyists?'

Guido usually gets his man in the end.

If the Green Party ever needs a new logo, there it is. May need to get Tim to sign up first, do some work on the false consciousness of existing members, and keep a lot of fingers crossed that the game is not yet up.

Will the benefiting legislators try to change the Rules of Ashes Cricket now that they are not working so well for Brits.?

And Yeo,... will now have become an embarrassment to the green movement more generally

I thought it was practically impossible to embarrass the Green movement -- Peter Gleick didn't manage it, nor did Chris Huhne.
