Clearly the correct thing to do with data that does not fit.

Perfect!

Mann learned everything there is to know about data processing in kindergarten.

To a man equipped with only a hammer, everything looks like a nail. To a Mann equipped with only a hockey stick, data is sure to get all pucked up.

Stan, I like it. Pucked up data. I think I have an idea for another IPCC cartoon... Tnx!

One of the best. Although "once you've seen one tree you've seen Yamal" is still top of the litter. It reminded me of the one ring.

On tree to rule them all, one tree to blind them
One tree to bend them all, and in a stick shape bind them

Edvin, excellent!

Ain't it just the truth, folks..?
Josh - you've done it again...!

Glad you liked it Josh! Once the connection is made though it's easy to see many interesting analogies.

The one ring was after all forged in the mountain of doom.
