Great minds

What an extraordinary coincidence...

There are no coincidences. It's all a plot by Big Oil®

I work in publishing, and I can tell you we're called in every week for our Big Oil® strategy meeting.

Ooops.

Rational Optimist has a different cover in the US, I guess this is why.

I finished Rational Optimist a few weeks ago.

Personally, I found it a very effective antidote to the many flavours of alarmism we're exposed to these days. Thank you Matt.

PS. You are unlikely to read a more painstakingly referenced book this year.

Great mind, surely?

"Pallagerism!"

Somebody get an Axe!

All that Co2 must have gone to his mind. Po Joe!

Having worked on Matt Ridley's book it only goes to show how poor American graphic design can be, ugh!

Joe Romm manages to repulse so many warmists, as any dissent from the party line, is justification for his spite. Are we sure he is not in the pay of Big Oil as a double agent, sabotaging the AGW movement from within?

I think Joe Romm is doing a great job!

Joe's a Double Agent? Noooooo.. no, no, no....

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh... that's a state secret. By outing him like this you've endangered the poor boy and destroyed 30 years of painstaking counter-espionage work.

Can't anyone keep a secret these days!

STRAIGHT UP YOURS!
Sorry folks, couldn't resist that.

The US cover (presumably also designed by Americans) looks like this:

Hah, hah, 'Straight Up' isn't.

The obvious, substance-free cheap shot is to observe that Joe Romm's arrow is labelled as STRAIGHT UP when in fact it is unmistakably slanted.

Freud would have great fun with that cover.

Come on!
of course there is a difference, look at the slope, it's different!
geez!

Looks like they are both hiding the decline to me although Romm's more so.
Or has Romm taken Viagra...

Granted, 'obvious, substance free and cheap shot'. But it's a nice little gem to add to my collection of ironies. My museum overfloweth from the climate wing into the lobby.
