You could listen to Andy Revkin somewhere in there that James Hansen is a grandfather.
Climate science sure is funny this way. Steve McIntyre cannot say anything because he is 'only a statistician' but all that qualifies Hansen is his 'grandfatherliness'. Heh.

What tickles me about this type of comment is AFAICS the whole corpus of climate work is built on statistics. You know, complicated stuff like "this year is hotter than that year" or "the rate of warming/dying/drowning/funding/whatever is unprecendented" etc etc. The only person that comment reflects on is the person making it, and it translates to "I am so incompetent to commentate on any scientific matters that I'm not even aware of it"....On second thoughts - it also reflects on anyone who hears it without bursting out laughing! :-)
Today of all days we should remember what danger lies in ideology. These three have made no small contribution against the dogma of CAGW while simultaneously supporting the scientific method.
Moderator Elizabeth called the panelists her "dream team" and then proceeded to lay out her view of the world.
The speakers did a good job, each from his or her particular perspective. Good discussion!
However, Elizabeth's slant got precious little support. The dream team was a bit of a nightmare for her, I thought.
Got it this time. Three reasonable, informed people making insightful statements, with a calm, civil question period to follow. No gouging, mud-wrestling or even name-calling. This one's never going to get picked up by the networks.
Right click on it, bring up properties and change the bandwidth right down. You'll get a bad picture, but the audio will be fine.
